What is Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer?

The critical funds raised through this event help support life-changing cancer research at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Thousands play to raise millions in the 10th annual Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer.

Teams are made up of rookies, seasoned veterans and prominent celebrities from across North America who will come together on October 30th, 2021 at SmartVMC in Vaughan.

COVID Compliance

 

Mandatory COVID screening and Vaccine verification will be required prior to entry of the event site. You will be receiving a COVID screening on October 29th and reminder email on the 30th with a screening link which you will be required to complete prior to gaining entry to the event.  

In accordance with the government of Ontario, as a reminder all players, participants and guests will be required to show proof of double vaccination and a completed COVID screening upon entry.  

It is important to have this information readily available on your mobile device or a printed hard copy to ensure a speedy entry of the event. You will be asked to show this prior to gaining entry. Please speak to friends and family if you need support obtaining these documents or credentials.

CHECK-IN

 

Your check-in time for game day will be sent via email on Friday, October 29th. 

We have two (2) waves of check-in times:  

  • ​Wave 1: 7:15 AM - 8:00 AM 
  • Wave 2: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM 

  • Your team’s specific time is dependent on when your first game is scheduled  

  • Your team’s official 2021 game day schedule will be provided upon check-in Saturday morning 


     

    FOOD & BEVERAGE (STARTING TIMES) 

  • Coffee provided by Balzac’s: 7:15 AM 
  • ​Hot Chocolate provided by Smart Centres at SMARTVMC tent: 7:15 AM
  • *Captains will receive (2) drink tickets for all players on their team of legal drinking age. Outside of the (2) provided tickets, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase for $5.00 
    *Be sure to keep hydrated throughout the day, refuel by visiting any of the beverage stations onsite for water, juice and products provided by Coca-Cola.  

  • Grab & Go Breakfast provided by Marigolds & Onions: 7:15 AM  

  • Lunch provided by Longo’s: 11:00 AM  

  • 5th + 10th year participants are invited to join Miyo Yamashita, President & CEO of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in the Beer Garden at 1:15 PM for a special toast and celebration to thank you for your continued support 

  •  Beer Garden: 1:30 PM
