“Our team captains are extremely proud of our players and families that took part in the event and represented our community on game day.
This was a true example of our association slogan:
“Building Character Through Sport”
Our players had a great time participating in the U18 tournament. We had approximately 51 players aged 7-12, and they all were playing for someone - whether it was a family member or friend that had cancer in the past or is currently undergoing treatment. These kids were proud of themselves to be able to raise money to make a difference and they got to play the game they love at the same time.”
– Rory Sones,
Rep Director, Flamborough Hockey Association
